Hi Stéphane, Unifi Controller 5.7.20 Stable is now available.

https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Updates-Blog/UniFi-5-7-20-Stable-has-been-released/ba-p/2271529

When you get a moment, can you do the magic that you do ? :-D

FYI afaik older versions of UniFi WAPs are not supported by 5.7.x

I dont care i'm already on 5.8.3 :)

Stephane 5.6.36 was released as LTS Stable, which might be a good version to release.

Hi Simon,

I've been using 5.8 for sometime, though am using 5.9.4 now which is great, though testing only.

Looks like a new version of the controller is available. Please and thank you!

updated to 5.8.28
Thanks for the update.
Can you please comment the upgrade procedure?
With former 5.8.24 version (done twice) I lost my settings and had to restore from backup.

Regards

think you need to backup your setting before update it

i dont use it so dont know where are stored those file, to keep it untouched on update

I supposed in /conf within .qpkg/UniFi directory but not sure... if you can confirm i can probably tweak the installer

Browsing files in my NAS, it looks like data is stored in <unifi_base>/data/

backup: store manual backups and auto backups
db: seems to store all configuration data.

sites: stores uploaded maps and some sites advanced settings.

Upgrade seems to wipe the db content, and that is why you need to restore.
I can further test.

Hope this makes sense and helps.

Please, need help from experts on QNAP and Unifi! :)

I'm fighting to run Unifi 5.8.28.0 with QJDK8 1.8.172 at QNAP TS-228A (4.3.3.0695 build 20180830) with no success!

1/ I've first installed QJDK8
2/ follow by Unifi
3/ and when I open Unifi app (http://10.0.0.247:38190) got "failed to open page" error message

I'm new to QNAP world, please let me know what am I doing wrong.

Thanks in advance!
