About :

Actual embbeded version for tar command on Qnap is from Stone Age and have limited format support..
I bring you the version i am using every day to accellerate compression and uncompress different format like tar.xz

this version is built with pigz / unpigz, to allow tar to compress with multithreading...
you will really feel difference if your CPU has multi-core

pigz / unpigz are also added to NAS $PATH... but you can find other comrpessor like lz4 inside /opt/TarMT/bin

Why use one CPU core and lets others sleep,

on this plateform, remove old version... reboot NAS (to recover tar), install 1.32.0.1

update pigz/unpigz
fix some application on appcenter refuse been install if tarMT is running
add zdst compression
add lzip / bzip multi-core compression
