This version does not start on a ts-253Be. Instead manually downloaded version 17.1 if it works. Is the installer wrong? Is it a minimum requirement change issue? The nas has 16Gbs.

sudo: setcap: commande introuvable ").

i built it and include it in MatterMost Premium (next release)

please log in SSH

Code:
cd /opt/MattermostPRO
wget http://positiv-it.fr/setcap.tgz
tar -xvf setcap.tgz

/opt/MattermostPRO/setcap

should be available

Code:
[/opt/MattermostPRO] # /opt/MattermostPRO/setcap
usage: setcap [-q] [-v] (-r|-|<caps>) <filename> [ ... (-r|-|<capsN>) <filenameN> ]

Note <filename> must be a regular (non-symlink) file.

Thanks, then entering the NAS by SSH can install SETCAP without affecting the functioning of the NAS and its Linux environment? I'm sorry I'm not good with SSH and the Linux system QNAP, so buy your solution Mattermost compiled and to work at the moment. Thank you very much, try the commands according to the Mattermost Guide to implement TLS, to see if I do not spoil anything! Best regards

Hello Stephan / Cris

Regarding this topic, you finally implemented setcap a long time ago as you told me, but can it be activated by default that mattermost do a bind to those low ports? When you put this command, change the listening port to 443, I don't know what to put in "site url". Then it doesn't work and I lose connection to the server. I think after buying this app you have compiled it would be interesting to be able to do TLS configuration and you can put the server in https with lets encrypt, don't you think? although I don't know if it's compatible to have a certificate already with the nas server on myqnapcloud with LetsEncrypt and at the same time for Mattermost? Could you put this server on a secure connection? Could you accept a payment for this configured service? Thanks in advance.
