Vielen Dank für die Bereitstellung dieses Pakets. I'm intend to use it in a QNAP 451+ NAS.

Der Server läuft und ist per Webinterface erreichbar. Trotzdem habe ich Probleme, den Ort der Befehlszeilenschnittstelle "influx" zu finden. Was ich identifizieren konnte, ist im Anhang gezeigt.

are you talking about flux command client ?

Sorry for German translation - I wrote everything in English, but Google translator worked in the background. I wrote:

The server is running and accessible via web interface. However, I'm having trouble to find the location of the "influx" command line interface. What What I could identify is shown in the attachment.

Yes, I talk about the "influx" command, which I can not find after installing the qpkg-package. I need to use it in a shell to maintain the database, e.g. execute "influx user list", "influx user create", remove wrong mesurements etc., see "https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/v2.6/reference/cli"

Thanks for your support

released : https://www.myqnap.org/product/influx-client-cli/

Many thanks.

What I do'nt fully understand is, why you need a second qpkg-package for this --> couldn't it provided in one package together and put the influx-command in a subfolder 'bin'? Both components are part of one release (at least this is my understanding).

However, it works and it's not up to me to claim for anything. Thank you again.

Unfortunately, I have now the same behavior as in my previous attempt, where influxdb2 is running in a docker container.

I use 'kitty' as terminal and get

[/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/InFlux] # influx user list
Error: failed to list users: 404 Not Found: unable to decode response content type "text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"

Exactly the same error message I get, if I use the '/bin/bash' shell from the docker container.

I have no idea, how to solve this issue. The database itself is running well, access via ....:8086 too.

Best regards
Jörg

It is not provided by influxd by default, i preferred a separate package in case of update

seems you are on Legacy volume (MD0_DATA) not test on ancient volume, influx command is installed on /usr/bin via symlink
or you can reach it with /opt/Influx/influx wich point to {system volume}/.qpkg/InFlux

are you well logged as admin (or did a sudo -i if connected with user from administrator group)

Separate package - I understood.

And yes, I logged in as admin, no sudo. However, independently of which volume/symlinked path I call "influx" - result is the same. I'm afraid, this is more a QNAP behavior rather than an issue with InFluxDb2 installation (as it is the same for qpkg and docker installation)
