Setup: QNAP TVS-673e, Plex, nzbget, sonarr/radarr
Problem: multiple users login remotely, eventually HDD and CPU power start getting clogged.
Solution: Normalize all content into mp4 + AAC. Currently I have been doing this using handbrake using my i7-8700 which is fast to do the encoding but so long to setup.
Ideal Setup: Post-Process the files directly within NZBGET or Sonarr/Radarr into mp4 format with AAC, then delete the original file (or overwrite if mp4 was downloaded). Preferably the system could leverage handbrake default presets; Roku 720p works best for my setups.
What I've tried already: SickBeard, Entware, NZBtoMedia
Looking for some guidance here; I don't mind doing the work now to convert everything that is already on the server but I don't want to keep adding new content without converting them as they come into the system.
