Qnap [ Qmono ] [ 6.12.0.122 ] Mono Framework

Is there any way to have mirror of
Code:
https://www.qnapclub.eu/en/qpkg/model/download/461860/Qmono_5.4.1.6.0_x86.qpkg
It is 173MB and fail to install on TS-459 Pro II v4.2.6?

That is the last version released for x86?

Thank you in Advance for updating Qmono_5.4.1.6.0_x86

it is more and more complicated to build x86 version (at least cross compiled)

mono source are making error while cross compiling for x86 (32bit), got some segmentation fault with no clue how to fix
wish i can find an old x86 (32bit) NAS to help me to debug the problems

Hi,
I was more hoping to re upload Qmono_5.4.1.6.0_x86 full version for start. My main problem is that I have 5GB of RAM (Cruical 4GB CT51264AC800 or Samsung 4GB M470T5267AZ3-CF7 that can be found as low as 20USD on eBay), but it is hard to find module that is recognized (I was lucky) and you can go with 1 Kingston 2GB SODIMand be safe.

System is reported as x86_x64 (TS-459 Pro II) But idiotically left on 4.2.6 :(

What device would satisfy you ? I see TS 259+ can be found around 120-170€

Salut !

;) haaa obsolescence programmer...

Merci !

Hi,
I absolutely agree, for things I use my NAS I'm only missing few things, working Sonarr and Node.js v8 (another story, but I bought pi 3+ for using it).

Also RAM Upgrade made wonders and I have USB Sound Card that works with Music Station and connected to house sound system.

I still think that they cut the x59 series wrongly, but can explain the reason from commercial side.

Bonjour,

Hi all,
I'm having some issues getting a version of mono > 3.10 to run on my nas, it is a bit older TS-559 Pro+. I keep getting an error pointing issues with the libm.so.6 architecture.

When Qmono "Qmono_5.14.0.177_x86_64.qpkg" is installed, it will not run.
[~] # /opt/Qmono/bin/mono --version
/opt/Qmono/bin/mono: error while loading shared libraries: libm.so.6: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
[~] # /share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Qmono/Qmono.sh start
/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Qmono/Qmono.sh: line 24: /usr/share/.mono: is a directory
/opt/Qmono/bin/mono: error while loading shared libraries: libm.so.6: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32

When "Qmono_3.10.0.0_x86.qpkg" is installed it runs fine.

I can see a few people have run into this, I've done a ton of googling but am stumped on this one.
Any ideas? :-D

dont use command line on latest x86 Qmono... just like ARMV5 version this one is experimental

it runs under another ELF, wont cross compile due to old glibc embedded on those NAS version

I am actuallt trying to get an old device for test and validation

Thanks for the info QoolBox. Seems to be any version > 3.10 won't execute.
If you need me to run any commands / debugs I'm happy to assist.

App Installation [App Center] Failed to install Qmono. Model does not support Qmono.

Je dois m'inquiéter ou pas ?

Merci

"still searching for a solution for old armv5 and old x86 - 32bits NAS"
Contact me in PM to arrange skype connection And I can try to help you with that. I Already have Node.js 8.13.1 installed manually.

EDIT: I am half way thru compiling Mono from github, it fails in "autogen.sh" when tries to cross-compile and I really want to compile only x86. Can you help?
