Very interested to this package, absolutely necessary for Octoprint, sadly installation stucks to 80%. I did a lot of tries.
My NAS is TVS-682 with latest firmware 4.4.1.1216 (14-02-2020). I think it doesn't depends on memory and processor and free disk space (i7 6700T, 64Gb RAM, 12Tb of free space over a total 24Tb).
May i do anything to successfully install it?
May you help me?

Thanks in advance,

GM

try manually

download .qpkg package in "/Public" share

log in SSh with admin

cd /share/Public

sh -x USBSerialdrivers_4.4.1_x86_64.qpkg

let see what happen

Consolle output (at the end)
[...]
Firmware check is fine.
Link service start/stop script: USBSerialdrivers.sh
Set QPKG information in /etc/config/qpkg.conf

And nothing more.
Sadly it stucks here, do you want to take a look to everything after the sh command?

i took a look to the qpkg.conf file, and the installation insterts qpkg infos. No icon in the app list, and nothing more.

Your QPKG directory exists, and i think everything has been installed. But the installation do not finish correctly and no icon appears on the visual interface.
Moreover if i connect e HL-340 usb to serial interface i think the module is not running correctly, because no serial port appears.

Could I try temporarily to take the only module i need from your folder and load it manually?
CH341 in my case...

So i'll take a try!
You have been incredibly kind and gentle, unbeatable.

Thanks a lot,

GM

No signs under dmesg (neither negative nor positive), but it is in the list of loaded modules (lsmod).

i'll try to use it.

Thanks!
