The NextPVR backend provides services such as tuner setup, live tv and recording.
The web application is built into your NextPVR server and can be accessed at http://localhost:8866/index.html on a machine with NextPVR installed. The web application is used for configuring NextPVR, managing your recordings, watching live TV, or playing back recordings.
Playback of broadcast video in a web browser can be a fairly taxing activity. If NextPVR is installed on a slower machine, or you're interested in the best possible experience, it's worth taking the time to investigate some of the additional client options below.
